We offer space for up to 12 adults and 6 children in 7 bedrooms, each with its' own bathroom, as well as use of the owners' kitchen, living room (with fireplace), dining room and large conference/game room (which features a billard/ping-pong table and a professional O/H projector). The large garden features a terrace, space for playing volley-ball and badmington, as well as a parrillero (weather/local regulations permiting). Five parking spaces, espresso machine, free wifi and household linen and much more are all of course included.

A DESCRIPTION OF CHATEAU NOVAK FROM AN EVENING LONG AGO
Sung by poets, lauded by bards, revered by the cognoscenti, Château Novak, a sun-kissed architectural jewel precariously perched on the verdant slopes overlooking the slothful Berounka, demurely - but joyfully - awaits your visit. Higher than the ancient neogothic fort of Křivoklat (1 steep mile away), lower than the Cool Bohemia icon that is Velka Bukovas' sleek observation tower, Château Novak is a pearl whose fragrant, multicoloured garden is its' delicious oyster - come, tease it delicately open, and discover the nacred treasures that demurely await you.
Umm, actually it's an ex administrative building that my wife (née Novak, thus the name ;-) and I have lovingly transformed and decorated over the past twenty years: It's of course not a château, but it's a large, rambling house with, on the ground floor, a comfortable living room, a vast (75 m²) game/meeting/event hall, a fully-equipped kitchen, and a dining-room. The 7 bedrooms, each with its' own bathroom, are distributed among the two upper floors, and comfortably sleep 12 adults and six children. Of course there is (free) wifi. You will particularly enjoy the terraced garden, which features a BBQ & Badmington/volleyball court and offers a stunning view on the Berounka Valley (canoing!) as well as on the village of Krivoklat, famous for it's crenelated castle and deep forests (the whole area is in the process of being declared a National Park). The charming towns of Beroun and Rakovnik are just twenty minutes away, and it takes 40 minutes by car - through the forest and along the Berounka river - to reach the magnificent capital city of Prague, unless you prefer to visit Pilsen and it's celebrated brewery (btw there are many more smaller breweries a few miles away ;-). There are a small convenience store and a pub in our village, and a bigger co-op/grocery store and restaurants can be found four miles away in the Berounka valley. Tesco / Kaufland / Lidl / high street shops are to be found in Rakovnik (12 km), and Vaclav Havel Prague airport is an hour away. We look forward to your visit!
