    A l'origine le bâtiment administratif de la ferme collectivisée (de force) de Velka Bukova, Château Novak fut construit en 1972 et racheté par sa châtelaine en mai 2007. Les photos ci-dessous datent de 2007.

At the beginning there was the administrative building, built in 1975, of the (forcibly) collectivised Velka Bukova farm (JZD), notable by its' position overlooking the Berounka valley just a couple of miles away from another castle, Křivoklat. Château Novak was purchased by its' present owner in May 2007 (the pictures below are from that spring/summer).

Bon, on avait peut-être sous-estimé ce qui nous attendait..mais n'est-ce pas toujours le cas?

Right, we may have under-estimated what laid in wait for us....but isn'it always like that?
